Frank William Hammond

Frank William Hammond, 71, of Corona, California, passed away October 7, 2017. He was born September 28, 1946 in, Pennsylvania, son of Cavalier and Christine Hammond. Frank went into the United States Marine Corp in 1964, he served 2 terms in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1968. He met and Married his wife Pat and they were married for 32 years. Frank went to school to study gemology where he mastered the skills of making jewelry which became the love of his life. He also went to school and got a degree in computer science and worked as a main frame computer operator until he retired in 2007. He was a member of the 280 Z club. Surviving are Wife, Patricia Hammond of Corona, CA. Step-daughters; Shonna Fowlkes and Sharene Dickson. Sisters; Cartillier McWilliams (Steven) and Victoria Hammond, brother; Christopher Hammond, brother-in-laws Louis Jefferson (Pam) and David Jefferson, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. I Miss You I just wipe a tear drop from the corner of my eye followed by another as I began to cry.. I just found a memory in the corner of my mind of happy times gone pass when you were by my side.. In death I loved you still, in my heart you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didnt go alone, for part of me went with you. the day God took you home. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly.
