Frederick “Fred” Brown

Fred passed away on May 22nd, 2025, at home at the age of 90 with loved ones by his side. He was born and raised in Ohio in 1934. He moved to California in 1959 for work. After some years he met the love of his life Glenna Brown and were married in 1966. They began a blended family merging seven children into their union.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife Glenna and stepsons Ted and Jim Vahovick. He is survived by his children Ron Brown and Terri Bayliss, as well as his stepchildren Becky Esparza, Rex Vahovick, and Chuck Vahovick. He also had 16 grandchildren and many many great-grandchildren and so many friends he made over his lifetime.

Fred was a generous man who tried to help people to the best of his ability. He carried on his wife’s tradition of donating toys at Christmas time to the fire department. He loved working in his woodshop, going to the casino, watching his westerns, and NASCAR. He had a way of making people laugh with his bluntness.
