Gail Kathleen Winstein “There goes our Gail.” Gail Kathleen Winstein, age 73, passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 9th, 2014. She died in Corona, California at the home of her sister where she had resided for the previous 2 years. Gail was born Gail Kathleen Hughes on November 27, 1940 in Torrance, California. Gail graduated from El Segundo High School in 1959. Gail married Robert Stevens in 1963 and they had two beautiful daughters, Nancy and Linda. Gail later married the love of her life, Howard Brown Winstein in 1976. They spent many happy years together in the South Bay Area of Southern California, and later they relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. Gail worked for many years primarily in the field of Medical Billing and Hospital Administration. In her youth, Gail enjoyed growing up on the beach in El Porto. She loved reading and parties with friends. Later, she loved riding on motorcycles with her husband Howard. They took many memorable trips and had a lot of fun together over the years. Gail also collected beautiful jewelry and was always tickled to show off the latest piece that Howard had bought for her. Most of all Gail loved her family and friends. Gail loved getting together with family to celebrate birthdays and holidays or just hanging out with good friends talking about old times. Gail had a wonderful and witty sense of humor and loved to laugh. Gail is survived by her daughters; Nancy Snyder and Linda Schlotthauer. Her grandchildren: Julie Ruvalcaba, Shannon Snyder, Jacob and Jessica Schlotthauer, Michael Winstein, Andrew Hudson and Katie Davies. Her siblings; Geraldine Peterson, Alan Sacks and Jill Wagner. As well as, many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Gail was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother and friend. She will be dearly missed. There will be a private celebration of Gails life at the home of Jill and Barry Wagner to be announced to family and friends at a later date. the family of Gail Kathleen Winstein wish to thank Chapman Hospice for their caring and support through this difficult period. They treated Gail and her family with dignity, support and love. In lieu of flowers you may make donations to the Alzheimers foundation or any other charity of your choice.
