91 died August 29, 2025, at Clarissa’s Home Care in Corona, California on Hospice.
She was born March 11, 1934, in San Dimas to Lawrence Oren Westlake and Lela Bell (Hall) Westlake.
Due to her father’s poor health and death when she was 10, the family moved around a lot spending time in both California and Oregon.
She graduated from Corona Evening High School in June 1960. She attended Chaffey College and received her certificate in Library Science.
She worked as a Librarian in the Corona-Norco Unified School District for approximately 18 years, retiring at Prado View Elementary. She was co-owner of Uncle Lee’s Country Café in Cherry Valley, California for several years and then returned to Library work with Riverside County Library at El Cerrito Elementary School in the evenings where she retired for the second time in 2004.
In addition to working, she was active in the First Church of God in Corona and Yucaipa.
She is survived by her brothers, John Bice and Jim Bice (Lori); her son, Larry Haworth (Pegi Matsuda); daughter, Cindy German (Mark); grandchildren, Christopher German, Ryan German, Heidi Charette (Tim) and great-grandchildren; Drake, Adam, Connor, Austin, Alice, Avery and Aubrey.
