Georgia Jeanette Vasconcellos

Georgia Jeanette Surratt Mulch Vasconcellos, of Corona, CA, 94, died 10/15/2017, at Corona, CA. She was born September 24, 1923 in Jacksonville, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Hallie (Gerard) Surratt. She married Gilbert V. Mulch in 1942 in Jacksonville, IL. He preceded her in death in 1977. Surviving are three sons: Gilbert L. (wife, Janet) Mulch, Terry Mulch, Randy (wife, Patricia) Mulch all of Corona, CA. one grandson Tory Mulch (wife, Anna), and one great granddaughter Larissa Mulch, all of Springfield, IL. She married Clyde Vasconcellos, in Jacksonville, IL in 1978. He preceded her in death in 1993. One surviving step-daughter: Carron (husband, Kenneth) Willis of Murrayville, IL. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and one step-son, Skip Vasconcellos of Chicago, IL. She is survived by a brother-in-law Darrow Steinheimer of Bradenton, FL She was employed by Capps Clothing, Jacksonville, IL for thirty-five years, and by Hertzberg New Method Bookbinder, Jacksonville, IL before retiring. Her greatest treasure in life was her family. She loved the Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Corona, CA. Viewing will be at Thomas Miller Mortuary, Corona, CA, 10/18/2017 from 6-8PM. All are welcome. Burial will be in Chapin, IL. Graveside services will be conducted by Buchanan Cody Funeral Home on 10/20/2017 at 1PM at Chapin Cemetery.
