Georgianna Jasper Kelly September 21, 1936 - February 9, 2021 Georgianna Jasper Kelly passed away February 9, 2021 from complications related to the novel coronavirus. A loving wife and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Donald Ivan Kelly. She is survived by her children Mike, Diana, Dale and Willow, their spouses and her grandson Patrick. An only child, Georgianna was born in Scottsbluff, NE and had a wandering life, living, among other places, in Wisconsin, South Carolina, Missouri, Tennessee, Alabama, Colorado, New Mexico, and Belgium before settling in Corona. In Corona, she became a leader in United Methodist Women and, with Don, very active in the Corona Kiwanis Club. She was especially proud of her involvement in the Kiwanis "Terrific Kids" program, visiting grade schools and giving the children esteem-building recognition. Always active in the United Methodist Church, she spearheaded the creation of the "Faith Journey" group whose mission was to get to know members, support and love one another, and reach out to needy persons in the community. In 2013 she was recognized by the City of Corona and the Corona/Norco Interfaith Association as a prominent spiritual leader in the community. She was a lamp, always shining out unconditional love in what is sometimes a dark and lonely world. We, her children, miss her and wish only that we could speak for the loss hundreds feel at her passing.
