Glenn Lawrence Knalson

July 30, 1933 — November 13, 2019

Glenn Knalson was born in Minneapolis Minnesota to Mabel and Lawrence Knalson July 30, 1933. He is the second of three children. Sisters Gloria and Debra. At the age of nine, Glenn's family moved to Los Angeles California. After graduating Inglewood high, he married his high school sweetheart Marilyn, September 9, 1951. They started their life together in Inglewood before Glenn enlisted in the Air-force in 1953. He honorably served four years in the military. In 1959 Glenn and Marilyn moved to Garden Grove. There they began their family with their first son Kenneth in 1962, followed by Kirk, Kris, Kyle and Karen. They established themselves with their family for 46 years in Garden Grove. Glenn was a hard-working man as an Industrial Engineer, and graduating from California State University Fullerton in 1977 with a Bachelor's degree. Glenn balanced work and family well. Glenn always kept involved in his children's lives supporting them in their sports and education. Life in the Knalson family included many camping trips and family vacations to the Sierras of California. His support continued with his nine grandchildren Travis, Kirsten, Makayla, Kelsey, Brian (BJ), Kylie, McKenna, Madison, Maeghan, and Great grandson Brantley. After 46 years in Garden Grove, Glenn and Marilyn moved to Corona in 2005 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Glenn enjoyed his grandchildren's lives, activities, sports, and sharing with them his love of fishing and camping. Glenn and Marilyn enjoyed trips to Markleeville in the summer months, and spontaneous getaway trips to Las Vegas enjoying each-others company, bingo and good food. Glenn's dedication and loving spirit will live strong in our hearts forever. Glenn is survived by Marilyn his wife of 68 years, his children Kirk, Kris Kyle and Karen, his sister Debra, 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Service Corona SDA Church 2550 S.
