Gloria Marie Orta

On Friday, January 1st, 2021, Gloria Orta, loving Mother & Grandmother, passed away at the age of 69. Gloria was born on August 30th, 1951 in Los Angeles, CA to Emilio & Margarita Orta. On June 14th, 1969 she married her high school sweetheart, Pete Trento and had 4 beautiful children together, Pete Jr., Lorraine, Michelle & Brandie. After the death of her oldest and youngest children Gloria knew what her career calling was. She worked as a very caring & compassionate Caregiver for many years thereafter. She lived for her grandchildren and made it known to everyone how proud she was of them. Gloria had a huge giving heart with an infectious, outgoing personality. She could light up a whole room with her vivacious and boisterous self. She will definitely will be remembered for all of those radiant qualities (hence her nickname “Glo”). She is survived by her two daughters, Lorraine & Michelle, her three grandchildren, Pashyn, JVon & Zeymian, two sisters Sally and Sylvia and several nieces & nephews.
