Grace Marie Payne February 28, 1926 - October 4, 2020 Grace was born in Washington D.C. She lived in San Diego, Orange and Corona California as well as Mesa, Payson and Goodyear, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vito and Maria Gentilcore and her husband of 68 years, Robert Payne Sr. Grace is survived by her 7 children, Robert Jr. (Darlene), Anthony (Ruthann), Michael (Donna), Mary (Rick), Stephen (Kathy), John (Rami) and Patrick (George). And by seven grandchildren, Tracy, Robert III, Tony Jr, Aaron, Christopher, Allison and Alycia. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as many great nieces, great nephews and family friend Hal Baumea. Grace was a devout Catholic and attended Mass every Sunday. She was an avid reader and enjoyed mystery novels. Grace also enjoyed family get-togethers and holiday celebrations, both of which were very- important to her. She was clever, witty and fun to talk with. The family would like to thank Brookdale Corona Care Home staff for the excellent care she received while residing there. Private services celebrating the life of Grace Marie Payne will be held on October 20, 2020 at 11:30 am at the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside Ca.
