Guadalupe Santacruz

Guadalupe Santacruz was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco on 12-09-1939 Mrs. Santacruz moved to Corona, Ca in 1970 where she raised her 4 children and vowed that she would never leave this great city. Lupe was a very loving and jovial woman who enjoyed spending time with her children family especially during the holidays. Lupes Thanksgiving dinners were the best! It would not be unusual for Lupe to be the first one up on the dance floor as she enjoyed dancing anything from Rock Roll to The Mambo and the Twist but of course she would try anything. On special occasions Lupe would cook a big Mean pot of “Pozole” that was so yummy everybody in the family looked forward to this meal. Mother was great for giving advice and she would “tell it like it is” no beating around the bush with her. She is greatly missed but forever in our hearts and memories. She is survived by her children; daughter, Martha Lorena Quiroz married to Salvador Quiroz, daughter, Barbara Szakacs, son, Jesus Jose Szakacs married to Raquel Campos, daughter, Louise Ramirez. Her grandchildren; Lupe Kanouse married to Dan Kanouse, Barbara June Isaac, Helen Marie Santacruz, Steven A. Isaac, Lorena E. Isaac, Samantha Szakacs, Beverly Fagoaga, Denise Salazar, Yocelin Valencia, Jesse Szakacs, Jesus “JC” Quiroz, Maya Szakacs and her great grandchild; Josiah Kanouse. Also her siblings Rosario (Chayo) Santacruz and Enrique Santacruz. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jose Santacruz and Maria Santacruz, and her siblings; Esperanza Santacruz and Carolina Rios.
