Hector Manuel Perez

“It is with joy and sadness that we celebrate the life of Hector Manuel Perez. Joy that we know he is with our Savior, and sadness that he will be missed here. Hector was born on September 11, 1959 and went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Angella, his children, Jessica, Kevin and Andrew and his grandson, Jase. He was a loved by his large family of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and cousins. He touched many lives, and will be remembered for his love of classic cars, old movies and good food. He loved his career as a truck driver for many years before his disability made it impossible for him to continue working. His friends were many, and he loved sitting and telling stories of his adventures. After his kidney transplant failed three years ago, his battle with illness had increased, but he always had a smile to give and rarely complained. His dialysis family took such good care of him, and he was thankful to be cared for by the many caregivers that made his last years more comfortable, both at St Joseph Renal Center and DaVita Corona.
