Henry “Palio” Carrizosa

On August 24, 2018 Henry A. Carrizosa went to be with our lord. He was in the end, as he was in life, surrounded by his loving wife of 58 years, his four daughters and his family. Henry was born in Corona, California on January 20, 1941 to Jesus and Sara Carrizosa. After graduating from Elsinore High School, he married Stella Oyas and they settled in Orange County. Henry worked at Thin Line and Miller's Foundry as a foreman, in Santa Ana for over 45 years. It was hard work and tough hours, but he loved the challenge and always put the care of his family first. Henry was loved deeply, widely respected, thrived in hard work, had the most generous heart and loved spending time with his family. Henry and his family resided in Riverside, California for 36 years. Henry is survived by his devoted and adoring wife, Stella; his four daughters, Rosemarie Castro and husband John, Nancy Simon and husband Russell, Renee Ybarra and husband Richard, Helen Posth and husband Steven; four granddaughters, Melanie, Katherine, Samantha and Madison; seven grandsons, John, Richard, Matthew, Evan, Anthony, Thomas and Donovan; and five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. His two siblings, Jesus Carrizosa and Helen Rodriguez, passed before him. Henry taught his girls to love life and appreciate those within it, fully. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle and friend. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all of knew him. The stories he told, his hearty laughter and the many songs he sung, will be with them all forever.
