Hortencia Acevedo Gomez 1936-2014 Hortencia A Gomez age 77, a lifelong resident of Corona, Ca, passed away on March 10, 2014. Born to Heladio and Rufina Acevedo. She is survived by her son Jay (Veronica) Gomez. 2 Grandchildren Michael and Marissa Gomez .Sister to Onias (Connie) Acevedo, and Aunt too many Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Gomez of 36 years, and her brothers Frank, Elias and Mario. She was a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 742 in Corona, she worked many years as a laborer at container Corporation in corona. She enjoyed watching the Los Angeles dodgers and listening to her Police scanner. Viewing and rosary will be at Thomas miller Mortuary in Corona, on Monday March 17 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Funeral Services will be held at St Edwardss church in Corona on Tuesday March 18th at 10:00 am.
