Irene M. Ramirez

Irene M. Ramirez, of Corona, CA, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2017. Irene preserved through many years with Parkinsons disease but always kept her fighting spirit. The funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Thomas Miller Mortuary. Pastor Danny Beteta will be officiating Memorial Services at Thomas Miller Mortuary. Interment will follow the service at Riverside National Cemetery at 12:45pm. Irene M. Escarzega was born in Lompoc, CA on December 27, 1932. She graduated from La Purisima High School. Irene was married to Frank on May 21, 1955; they were married 62 years. Irene stayed home to raise her daughters, Caryann and Debbie until they reached high school. She went back to work as a Teachers Aide for Anaheim Unified School District for 21 years. She enjoyed playing tennis, needlework, jazzercise, dancing and drinking Chardonnay. She was also actively involved in the girls school PTA organizations. Irene is survived by Frank, her husband, Caryann and Debbie, her daughters, Alex and Mark son- in- laws, Marisa, Lexi and Nic, her grandchildren and other family and friends. Irene is preceded in death by Rachel Rhodes, her mother, Otho Marquez, her father. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Michael J. Fox Foundation - Parkinsons research.
