Jack Evan McCrory (86) of Corona passed away at home on September 2, 2019. Jack was born in Bellevue, PA on March 25, 1933 and moved to California with his parents at the age of 18 months. He joined the Navy during the Korean War and was assigned to the Fleet Marines 5 th Marine Regiment 1 st Marine Division as a Navy Corpsman. After being wounded in action in Korea and receiving his Purple Heart, he was flown home and assigned to the US Naval Hospital Corona. There, he met his one true love of 57 years, the late Helen Marie Emerson of Corona. He is survived by his 5 children: Jackie Baumgarner (Chuck) of El Paso TX, David McCrory (Janice) of Canyon Lake CA, Sharon Larsen (Kris) of Plymouth MA, Kelly James of Houston TX and Michael McCrory (Stacy) of Santa Barbara CA. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Carol Kammeyer (Ken) and Jerilu Nelson, as well as his sister LaVerne Putnam. He will be missed by 16 grandchildren and dozens of great grandchildren along with many relatives and friends. Services will be at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd Riverside CA, on September 23, 2019 at 11:30AM.
