Janale Liston-Pontious

Janale Liston-Pontious February 2, 1956 – March 21, 2026, aged 70 on Saturday.

Jan is survived by her daughter, Jenna; her two sisters, Joanne and Janeen, her brother Bernie; her nieces and nephews; extended family and two doggies. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mark Pontious in 2009 and her parents Mary and Bernard in 2017 and 2005. Jan was an excellent cook, with cheesy potatoes and chicken enchilada casserole being fan favorites. Always the consummate hostess, Jan and Mark hosted many parties and gatherings at their home which they purchased in 1983 and she was still living in up until she passed. She was a radiologist for over 40 years, dedicating herself to her job and supporting her patients. She was generous and kind, loved her animals, especially her bassets, and she will be missed greatly. And finally, “Mother Knows Best🎶”
