Jay Everett Hancey Jr

Jay Everett Hancey, Jr. was born October 1, 1954 in Los Angeles, California. The youngest child of Jay Sr. and Aileen Hancey, Jay spent much of his childhood in Claremont, attending Claremont High School (1972). He attended Citrus College, and studied to become a police officer. Jay served on the Buena Park Police Department as a reservist, and held a number of sales jobs. Jay was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time in Laughlin, Nevada. Jay passed on November 4, 2019, surrounded by his devoted wife, Rocio. Jay is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Gallegos (husband Chris); his grandson Gabriel; son Jason; and numerous friends.
