Jeanette Vromans

Jeanette Vromans went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the age of 92. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was born on May 1, 1929 in Friesland, The Netherlands, to George and Henrietta Vander Meulen. Jeanette immigrated to America with her parents and brother in 1930. She lived in Southern California most of her life. In 1947, Jeanette was one of the first High School graduates of Bellflower Christian School. She was a devoted Christian wife and mother and will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit and thoughtfulness. She will be greatly missed. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gerrit, and her son Gerrit Peter Vromans. She is survived by her daughters, Helena Obbink, Wendy Troost and Patricia Wallace and her son, John Vromans. She had 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona.
