Jennifer Courtney Lage

In remembrance of a beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter, Jennifer Courtney Lage of the Campbell Clan, born September 10, 1967 passed away on October 26, 2021. Jennifer was born in Denver, Colorado to William and Jean Campbell. She was a fair child with a head full of yellow curls. People often marveled at how beautiful she was with wide sparkling baby blue eyes. Jennifer enjoyed many adventures living abroad when she was young. She lived in Iran with her family when her father worked on assignment there. In the early 80's Jennifer attended boarding school in England. She was up for every adventure, always positive and always your biggest cheerleader. She would look forward to many camping destinations in the great outdoors - particularly the desert and the beach with friends and family. Water was her happy place. She loved to sketch, craft, garden and had a fascination with rocks. She was a voracious reader and spent hours educating herself on global matters. She shared her opinions on politics, world events and issues - especially about the environment, education, healthcare and marginalized populations. She enjoyed long chats with her husband Mike and their sons - always open and supportive to all their hopes and dreams. In Jennifer's words, she was an "at home mom of four boys. Love family, animals and people in general. I am very very lucky in life. Would die without books. Happily married". Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Michael Lage and their four sons, Connor, Brendan, Devon and Caden. Also surviving her are her four siblings, William Campbell (Kristin), Kimberly Claassen (Murray), Robert Campbell (Joyce), Kerry Buhler (John) and 10 nephews and nieces and 1 grandnephew and 4 grandnieces. She loved her boys dearly and extended family, always welcoming visits with them wherever they would gather. Jennifer was so loved and will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts.
