Joan Marie Van Valey

Joan was born May 30, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois to Anna Louise Nelson (Van Houten-Wilkens) and Eugene Kaizmir Van Houten.

Joan married Warren Lee (Sonny) Van Valey in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 8, 1954. Joan gave birth to three daughters, Faith Renee, Sheri Rae and Bobbie Kay.

The two divorced in May 1970, both went their own way. In 2014 they found each other again and were reunited in marriage in July 2014 until his death on September 1, 2014.

Joan is survived by, her daughter, Faith & Tom Copeland and their son Nicolas Ballou-Perez; her daughter, Sheri & Jack Rexroat and their children Brandon & Yuki Rexroat and their two boys, Liam & Miles, Devin Rexroat; her daughter, Bobbie & Jessie Tolton - Machacek and their son Travis Machacek; Joan's sister, Shirley Burke, 3 Nieces and 2 Nephews.

Interment will be held at Riverside National Cemetery with the Love of her life.
