JoAnn Velarde, 83, of Corona, California, died October 22, 2016 in Corona, CA. She was born January 25, 1933 in Santa Ana, CA, daughter of Verl and Virginia Underwood. JoAnn worked as a Job Coach for 10 plus years. Surviving are Son, David Velarde ( Wendy A Velarde), Son, Brent L Mays (Teri A Mays), Daughter, Stephan McCartney, Son, Cade Lewis Velarde; Grandchildren Jenny Elizabeth Ann Aguilar, Daniel Charles McCartney, Brandon Lewis Mays, Cory Patrick Mays, Chanelle Anita Velarde, Kyle Brent Mays, Tristen David Velarde and 3-Great Grandchildren Elijah McCartney, Cora and Cole Mays. Services will be held at Thomas Miller Mortuary, Friday, October 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Billy Phipps officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Memorial Park, Riverside, California.
