Jodie Ann Clewis

Our beautiful Jodie Ann Clewis (Whited) passed away from a hemorrhagic stroke in Pomona, CA on August 22, 2016 at the age of 46. Jodie is survived by her loving husband Sean and two children Hunter 16, and Connor aged 12. She also has 3 living siblings, Tania, Alana and Sean, Mother in law Elmina Bolden, her extended Clewis and Bolden families, along with many longtime friends. Jodie is preceded in death by her father Robert Joseph Whited, mother Ngaire Doris Henshaw OSullivan Whited, brother Dene Marcus OSullivan and her father in law Ezell Clewis. Jodie was born on July 19, 1970 in Christchurch, New-Zealand to Robert and Ngaire Whited. She moved to Orange, CA in 1974 and graduated from Orange High School in 1988. After marrying Sean Clewis, in 1997 they moved to Corona, CA where Jodie began working for an accounting firm and began raising her children with Sean. She was dedicated in her childrens sports activities which includes martial arts, tennis, BMX, soccer, and volleyball. She will be remembered for her compassion in aiding and assisting the elderly and handicapped, along with helping many people in need. We who knew and loved her will be forever grateful of shared time with her and believe she is now an angel watching over us and will continue to rely on that belief as we will all miss her deeply. Services will be held at Thomas Miller Mortuary 1118 E .Sixth St, Corona, Ca 92879, on Wednesday August 31st at 11:00a.m. Reception will immediately follow at the Clewis residence: 607 Viewtop Lane, Corona, CA 92881.
