John Laverne Compton, 77, of Corona, California, died March 17, 2017 in Murrieta. He was born January 26, 1940 son of Edsel and Laura Compton . John worked as a Mechanic for over 50 years. Surviving are Son, John D. ( Robin) Compton of Riverside; Daughter, Darcy (John) Harrington of Corona 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild. John was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Memorial Service will be held at Thomas Miller Mortuary at 9 AM with interment following at Crestlawn Memorial Park; where he will be laid to rest with his late wife Frances.
