John Patton Kinser

On July 15, 2022 John passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family. John was 81 years young. Born November 24, 1940 in Louisville KY, John was the second son of Paul H. and Hazel Kinser. After attending school in McKeesport, PA, at age 17, he enlisted in the US Army and served in Germany from 1958 to 1961. He moved to California in 1963 and began his career in the automotive industry as Service Manager. John married Cathy in 1969, and they raised their family in Corona, CA living a full and happy life. His hobbies included motorcycle riding/racing, boating, camping, and traveling. John was beloved for his witty (and sometimes demented) sense of humor, his love of music, and his many loyal friendships. John is survived by his wife Cathy, daughter, Suzanne Hay of Portland OR, son Gary Kinser of Lake Elsinore, CA , and daughter, Karen (Andy) Fairfax, of Corona, CA, 4 grandchildren, Caitlyn (Ryan) Mattern, Brandon (Kim) Fairfax, Daniel Kinser, and Griffin Hay, and 1 great-grandchild, Bexley Mattern.
