John Paul "JP" was resident of Moreno Valley for the past 12 years. He was semiretired and eagerly waiting for his wife's retirements from teaching to truly enjoy retirement life together. JP accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at age 13 during a church service at a Pentecostal church in Corona where his grandmother used to attend. His Father John Araujo, Jr. became a Pastor shortly after. He together with his wife Tish later became traveling pastors in various churches in Arizona. He also partnered with her in directing the church Royal Ranger program and Sunday school for approximately 20 years in Arizona and California. JP received his Business Degree at Chaffey College and worked in management and sales his entire career. His passion was to play golf with his son Julian, and his greatest joy came from sharing weekdays and weekend escapades with his wife Tish and practicing at the shooting range. He often looked forward to Monday Football and attend Dodger games. He loved BBQ reunions with the family and breakfasts with his brother David. He was the life of the party.
