Joie “Joe” Burk

Joe Burk 7/17/1932 ~ 11/04/2014 Longtime resident of Corona, California passed away November 4, 2014 at his residence. Joe was born July 17, 1932 in Ada, Oklahoma. He graduated Corona High School 1950 and College 1958. Joe served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He was the proud owner of BB Nursery and Landcape Co. in Corona, CA for 47 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing at Cresta Verde Golf Course in Corona, CA ; most of all his 2 great-grandchildren Joseph Ernst Pauline Burk. Joe is survived by his wife Nancy (Cinkush) Burk; daughter, Dina Burk of Corona; son, Dale Burk of Corona; grandchildren, Joie Burk and his wife Marcie of Corona, Sonja Ernst of Texas, Kaylee and Scott of Bishop, CA; sister Ruby Mae of Shawnee, OK; uncle and aunt, Tom Betty Mitchell of Chula Vista, CA and many nieces and nephews. Joe was a beloved Father, Great Friend to many and a Wonderful Husband of 62 years.
