Jory Michael Curry

Jory Michael Curry departed from us on February 26, 2021. A memorial service will be held on April 12, 2021, at the Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona, California. Anyone fortunate enough to have been part of his life is invited to join his family and friends to remember his kind heart. Jory came into our world on June 15, 1990, in Montclair, California. A lifelong resident of San Bernardino County, Jory routinely packed his kit bag with two things for any new experience: a sense of adventure and a smile that won over anyone. Following his graduation from Etiwanda High School in 2008, Jory attended Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga and worked for the last several years in the Mortgage Department of Wells Fargo. In his personal life, Jory explored the outdoors with friends and family, accumulating the love of people and animals alike on his journey. He prided himself on his ability to tackle any project himself, from designing, building and cultivating his own garden to creating a home for his turtles through his own ingenuity. It was always difficult not to be swept up in his cheerful development of new ideas, whether it was sharing in his latest culinary experiment or hearing of his dreams for making his car the envy of everyone on the road. Jory is survived by his grandmother, Madhu Mann, his father, Todd Curry, his mother, Simi Bobbie Mann, his stepfather, Robert Brown, his siblings Angelica Lansing, Arron Curry, Autumn Curry, Summer Curry and Gemma Curry, his cousins Sean and Natasha Anand, with whom he had an especially close relationship, and cousins Aniket and Vishal Sharma, uncles and aunts Bikram Jit Singh, Surinder and Kalpana Sharma, Praduman and Seema Anand, Michael Wilson, Tim Curry, and Mindi Rodriguez, and several other family members. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jory's name to a charity of your choosing. Suggestions include The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (a memorial page has been started which can be found by searching for, "Jory"), Mental Health America, and the World Wildlife Fund.
