Jose Vasquez

Jose “Pepe” Vasquez a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025 at the age of 84.

Jose was born on June 2, 1941 in El Paso, Texas to Refugio and Nicolasa Vasquez. Jose grew up in El Paso with his siblings, 5 brothers and 8 sisters

Jose met his true love Mary in El Paso, Texas and they were married on January 18, 1961.

Jose and Mary raised a family of six children which include: Joe Jr, Johnny, Bernard, Refugio “Cookie”, Delia and Ofelia.

Jose and Mary with their children moved to Corona, CA in 1976. Jose was a construction worker for 45 years.

During his early years, Jose enjoyed camping with his family in the Sierra Mountains, traveling and attending family gatherings.

In his later years he had lots of hobbies making birdhouses and wood crafts. Jose would always help others.

Jose and his wife Mary loved to go to the Casino.

Jose loved being with his family, he enjoyed being a grandfather and great-grandfather.

Jose’s memory will live on through his children: Joe Jr, Johnny (MaryLou), Bernard (Trina), Refugio “Cookie” (Terrie), Ofelia, and Delia (Richard). Grandchildren: Elaine, Johnny Jr (Koreana), Vanessa (Mikey), Yvonne (Daniel), Miranda, Ashley, Zackary (Kelsea), Bradlee (Lauren), Monica “Charlene” (Mannie), Cheryl (Alex), Sharon (Chris), and Clarissa. Great-Grandchildren: Jayla, Jasmine, Rowley, Kostyn, Xander, Kayden, Everlee, Easton, Hudson, Rocklyn, Isabella, Avery, Ceasar, Sophie, and Natalie
