Obituary Jose-Mario "Jojo" B. Torcuator, 60, Riverside, CA Jose-Mario "Jojo" B. Torcuator of Riverside, CA passed away at Riverside Community Hospital on October 29, 2020 at the age of 60. Jojo was born in the Philippines to Atty Jose and Herminia (Basa) Torcuator on February 9, 1960. He graduated high school at Lourdes School Quezon City. Philippines, and went to college at the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. He made California, USA his home in 1989 after emigrating from the Philippines. He worked many years in the hotel industry and at the United States Postal Service. He loved to socialize with his friends, enjoyed shopping and dining out with family, He also loved playing golf, basketball, billiards and especially tennis. At a young age, Jojo showed much love and passion for competing in tennis tournaments. Those left to cherish Jojo's passing include his wife, Gilda (Ecolin) Torcuator, son Jomar Torcuator; sister, Dr. Herminia Gozar (Atty Jim) of the Philippines; sister, Anna Mae Torcuator of Citrus Hills, FL; his loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews; and a number of other relatives. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. His love, generosity and dedication to his family and friends will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his father, Atty Jose T. Torcuator, mother, Herminia B. Torcuator, his sister, Enriqueta G. Nable, and his brother, Jose Antonio Torcuator. A memorial service will take place at Thomas Miller Mortuary and Crematory, 1118 E. 6th Street, Corona, CA 92879, on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Private cremation will be on November 11, 2020 at 10am under the direction of Thomas Miller Mortuary and Crematory.
