Joseph Edward Guerrero

January 25, 1971 — August 23, 2023

Joseph Edward Guerrero (Joe/Joey) from Eastvale, CA entered eternal rest at the age of 52 on August 23, 2023 at Riverside Community Hospital from complications of a heart attack. He was born on January 25, 1971 in Downey, CA and grew up in El Monte. There he made many friends which developed into a brotherhood via the good old neighborhood, sports and school. He had a colorful education, was enrolled into multiple schools due to his home life and troublesome youth. He persevered, excelled in baseball, football and wrestling; defied the negative remarks from school teachers and earned his GED. Joe worked with United Parcel Service for a few years and there he met another brother and his future wife. After leaving UPS, he worked with a number of termite companies, learned the trade and became a CA State Licensed Termite Inspector. With courage and a leaps of faith he opened his own company - Top Termite Control and was the co-owner of a Mixed Martial Arts gym - Emguarda. Joe's laughter, honesty and ease of speaking with people made him a good businessman. Not a great one because financial profit was not a priority. His giving nature allowed for clients to get discounts, homeless to have meals and friends to enjoy sporting events. Joe was a passionate, die hard tattoo sporting Rams fan, from their time in Los Angeles, to St. Louis and back to LA. He stayed true to blue as he was also a huge LA Dodgers fan. His greatest passion was the love for his wife and daughters. He prioritized their security, comfort and well-being above all else. At the drop of a dime, no matter what pain he may be experiencing, his girls' needs and wishes were always met. "Daddy got you," was his most cherished loving phrase. Preceded in death by his father, Edward Guerrero and survived by his wife, Maribel Guerrero, three daughters; Francheska, Jazlynn and Myckaila, mother, Margaret and step-father Ruben Martinez, siblings; Malissa, Tiffany, Timothy, Ana, Brandie and Anthony.
