Joseph Michael Cardamone

Joseph Cardamone, devoted husband, father and grandfather, died peacefully at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach California on Friday, September 25, 2015. Born April 16, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Joe worked as an insurance executive at Cigna, Zurich, and Travelers Insurance before retiring in 2014. Joe was a member of the Republican Party, contributed as Penn State Alumni Admissions Recruiter, was an avid golfer and connoisseur of food, drink and cigars. Survivors include his wife, Marianne; sons Andy and Matt; daughters-in-law Nicole and Amanda; grandchildren, Kacie, Libby and Nolan; and sister, Carolyn Ellis. Joe was preceded in death by his father and mother Frank and Sylvia Cardamone; and Brother Robert Cardamone. Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday September 29th at Saint Edwards Roman Catholic Church 417 W Grand Blvd. Corona, CA 92882. Relatives and friends are welcome at a luncheon following the service at the Cardamone Home in Temescal Valley, CA.
