Judith Ann Van New Kirk age 78 of Corona, California Passed away on October 26th, 2018, in Corona, California. Judith Ann Tatner Van New Kirk, born on October 7th, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois. Daughter of the late Chicago band leader and musician, Jack Tatner and Lucille Tatner. Judy and her family moved from Chicago, Illinois, to Garden Grove, California in 1954, attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, and graduated in 1959. She attended the opening of Disneyland in 1955. In 1962, Judy married the love of her life, David Paul Van New Kirk, and they raised 5 children in. Their home in Garden Grove. Judy was multi Talented, and shared her many talents with her loved ones and friends. She loved to sing, play guitar and banjo, paint, and made many different arts and crafts like, clay figurines, wood carvings and she even made her own high quality brand of teddy bears. In 1969, She appeared on the LA based, Ben Hunter TV show to showcase her clay figurines, and in the early 1970s, she presented a clay figurine that she made for Carol Burnett, to her while attending a taping of her show. Judy worked as a phone operator, a teacher's assistant to special needs children, a bus scheduler for 13 years, and most recently was a teacher's assistant at Santiago High School in Corona, and she attended St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Corona, California. Judy's infectious laugh and smile made all who knew her, love her. Our beloved Judy is survived by her husband David Van New Kirk, Her son, John Van New Kirk, daughter, Diana Van New Kirk, son, James Van New Kirk and his wife April and their children, James, Scott and Paige, daughter, Elaine Tarkington and her sons Kenneth and Brian, Judy's oldest Son David, passed away on September 1st, 2017, and his daughters are Jane, Khloe and Danielle.
