Julia Henry passed away in Corona, California on March 26, 2015, after a long and full life of 96 years. She was born Julia Rose Roeder in Arthur, Iowa, and was raised on her familys farm. As a young woman, she moved to Southern California where she met and married James Francis Henry. They made their life together in Pico Rivera where they raised their two daughters among amazing, life-long friends on Lindsey Avenue. Her husband passed in 1978, and a few years after, she moved to Corona to be closer to her grandsons as they grew up. She was a generous and loving woman who will be missed by her daughters Jan and Judy, her son-in-law Jim, grandsons Justin and Jason, granddaughters-in-law Courtney and Anna, and great-grandchildren Jersie, Jaysie, and Grant. Julia will also be missed by her extended faily from Lindsey avenue, her friends from Village Grove, and the friends she made through her devotion to the Catholic Church as a parishioner and member of the Blue Army. She will be reunited with her siblings Anthony, Dorothy, and Bernadine and her husband James as we all lovingly release her into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Throughout her life Julia had many pastimes. She enjoyed her daily rosary and prayers, reading, puzzles, baking, gardening, crocheting, and playing cards and lunching with the girls, but she especially loved her family and spending time with them. Julias life will be celebrated through a mass to be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Corona. Cemetery Queen of Heaven Cemetery Thursday 1/1
