Kathleen Ann Smith

Kathleen Ann (Albee) Smith, 71, passed away suddenly on February 8, 2026. A devoted wife, mother, and Nana, Kathleen’s life was defined by her deep love for her family, her faith in Jesus and her unwavering care for others.

Born March 8, 1954, in Rochester, New York, to Nancy (Porto) Albee and Lawrence Albee, she was raised in Riverside, California, alongside her brother, Rick. Proud of her Italian heritage, she cherished time spent with her extended family.

Kathleen graduated from Rubidoux High School and earned her Registered Nurse degree from Riverside Community College. She dedicated her career to nursing as an ICU nurse, later specializing in dialysis, where her compassion touched countless lives.

On June 30, 1973, she married her husband of 52 years, Neil Smith. Together they built a life grounded in faith and family.

She found great joy in becoming Nana to her granddaughter, Isabelle Glenn-Smith, and loved reading, painting, beach days, camping, and church.

She is survived by her husband, Neil; her daughter, Sarah Glenn-Smith and spouse Emily Glenn-Smith; granddaughter Isabelle; beloved dog, Roxy; sister-in-law Mary Albee; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Nancy and Lawrence Albee; her son, Jonathan David Smith; and her brother, Richard Albee.
