Katie Lou Coffey

Katie Lou Coffey, 95, passed away at her home in Riverside, September 10, 2017. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Katie was born in Pauls Valley OK where she met and married her husband of 65 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude G. Coffey and daughter Sandra L. Ricks. She is survived by two grandsons Greg Ricks, Scott Ricks, Niece Ann Musick-Vinyard. She had 6 great grandchildren and 3 great- great- grandchildren. She resided in Riverside over 50 years. She loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Corona SDA Church. She was always ready to lend a helping hand those in need. She enjoyed working in the medical field and pursuing her hobbies of gardening, entertaining her family and friends in a home filled with love and laughter. Katie was known as “Granny Goose” by those who loved her. She was a feisty lady with a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
