Kelly Sue Rainwater

Kelly was born on December 2nd 1964 in Trenton Michigan to Carol Lynn Holt and Louis Clifford Haas. They moved to Lincoln Park Michigan where she attended grades K-12, and then went onto college in Nashville Tennessee, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from David Lipscomb University. She had worked three jobs to help pay for her tuition, and had a very strong work ethic. She moved to Bellflower California where her mother had moved to from Michigan a few years prior. Kelly pursued a career in the growing Escrow business in California, and became very successful. In July of 1991, Kelly had met Brian Rainwater on a blind date and it was love at first site for both. They married on May 23, 1992 and were together until Kelly's passing on December 25, 2020. They had purchased a new home in South Corona California and have been living there for 26 years. Kelly loved to have family and friends visit and made them always feel at home. She loved to entertain with good food and welcome guest with her beautiful smile. She made everyone feel special and touched everyone's heart. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she decorated the inside and the outside of the house to ensure that it looked magical during that time of the season. Kelly had many hobbies including traveling, cooking, art, and writing. She loved adventure and lived life to the fullest at all times. She was a gourmet cook and loved to experiment with new recipes. Kelly was always positive and fought a long and hard battle with cancer. She will always be in our hearts and souls and her sweet soul will be with us forever.
