He moved to Tucson, Arizona at 15 years old and graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in business. Immediately after college Ken entered the United State Air Force and was sent to officer training school in Syracuse, NY. He spent three years overseas in Naha, Okinawa during the Vietnam War. He was a Captain for air weapons control. He married the love of his life and mother of his four children, Joan (Joanie) Battistina Pace on November 7, 1964 in Tucson. He worked for the Southern California Gas Company and then printing company, Denison Eastman. In 1978 he started his own business Heritage Graphics. It was a printing brokerage service that he ran out of his home office. He dabbled in real estate in the 1970's finally becoming an agent full time in the late 1990's. Ken loved the Catholic Church, his wife, and his children. He was a devoted family man who worked in Orange County and Los Angeles but always made it home for family dinners every night. When his wife Joanie became terminally ill in her 40's, he took care of her at home. She lived 15 years in his care. He never had an enemy. Everyone always said kind things about Ken Lewis. He was truly regarded as Saint Ken to many that met him.
