Kenneth Ray Yarbrough, 76, died March 11th, 2018 at his home in Corona, CA. His funeral service will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA at 11:30 am. Mr. Yarbrough was born on September 20th, 1941 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Loretta and Ray Yarbrough. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from August 1961 to October 1969, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Mr. Yarbrough was a Vietnam Veteran who earned a National Defense Medal, a Vietnam Service Medal, a Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. On May 3, 1966, he married Margaret Lueken. They raised two children, Michael and Michelle. After receiving an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Mr. Yarbrough moved to Orange County and began a career with the City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency. After retiring as a utilities inspector in 2005, he moved to Corona to be closer to his son Michael and his two grandchildren, Bethany and Isaac. Mr. Yarbrough was a kind, generous man who had a positive impact on everyone he met. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, his two children, Michael and Michelle, and his two beloved grandchildren, Bethany and Isaac who were his pride and joy.
