Laurie Ann Marie Sommers-Cope

It is with a heavy heart that we announce our beloved daughters passing on August 4, 2015. Laurie Ann Marie Sommers-Cope (49 years of age) Born in Torrance, CA on November 10, 1965. Survived by devoted husband of 19 years, John Cope II. Children, Brian Barela (Amanda), Domnick Trani, Joseph Trani, and Tiffany Trani. Grandchildren: Brianna, Madison, and Amelia. They were the light of her life. Amidst her suffering from failing health, she found laughter, love and much happiness caring for her grandchildren. Parents John L. and Mildred Sommers of Lake Elsinore, brothers, John “Tom” (Mayda), Tim (April) Sommers. She is also survived by her extended family, The Copes, who have always been so kind and loving. Mother in law, Kathy Cope, Brothers in law, Mike (Mary Lou) Cope, Mark (Wendy) Cope, Sister in law, Lynn Holthus (Jim). Nieces: Savannah, Larissa, Jessica S., Natalie, Megan, Nicole, Jessica C. and Dayna. Nephews: Matt, Tony and Jimmy. She also leaves her tiny Chihuahua, Khloe that she adored. Thomas Miller Mortuary of Corona is handling the services. Internment will be at Pierce Bros Crestlawn Memorial Park of Riverside. Dear Daughter, you are but a breath away, we will meet again someday but until then our love for you is overflowing. Memories will sustain us. We will find solace in knowing you are free of pain.
