Lavetta Denise Ross was born on November 21, 1964 to the late J.C and Rosie Ross in Malvern, Arkansas; she was the baby girl of the family. Lavetta attended Chidester High school in Chidester, Arkansas graduating class of 1983. After high school Lavetta joined the Army Reserve later reenlisting into the U.S Army. Lavetta later married and had two beautiful daughters. She was a very loving and devoted mother to her daughters. She was an outgoing person that loved reading novels, traveling, and working with The Care Project a nonprofit cancer support group. Later, Lavetta went to college and received a Bachelor’s of Science In Business administration and two Masters degrees including a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Additionally, Lavetta worked for Kaiser Permanente for over 20 year and recently started an internship as a family and marriage therapist at The Grove Community Center. Lavetta really enjoyed life, her friends and her family. Lavetta will truly be missed by her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 2 living daughters, Adrienne Graham and Britnee Graham of Riverside, California. 4 sisters Mary Bone, Teressa Conner (David), Rosie Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas. Lyda Daniels (Robert) of Winston Salem, North Carolina. 3 brothers Billie Ross, Standford Ross (Charlotte) and Derrick Ross of Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition to host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
