Lester C Lauritzen passed on August 21, 2018, at his home in Jurupa Valley surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Sue of 47 years and six children. Daughters; Shawnette (Kent) Bukarau; LeeAnn (Alan) Akina; Sherree (Mike) Chapman; Lynette (Caleb) Willis; Sons; Lance (Heather) Lauritzen; Spencer (Kerri) Lauritzen and 21 grandchildren. Les was born in Claresholm, Alberta Canada to Wilson and Idona Lauritzen on January 4, 1950. He has 9 brothers and sisters. He lived in Utah, Colorado, and Oregon before moving to California at the age of 17. Les graduated from Rubidoux High School in 1968 and attended RCC. Les was owner/partner of Nu Acoustics with his brothers Mark and Verne in Jurupa Valley. Les enjoyed riding his Harley, cycling, singing with his brothers, camping, and ATVs, but spending time with his family was what he loved the most. He spent a lifetime of serving in Ecclesiastical positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He deeply loved those he served. He will greatly be missed by all. Services for Les will be held on August 31, 2018, at 10:30 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5950 Serendipity Rd, Riverside, Ca 92509. He will be laid to rest at Olivewood Memorial Park.
