January 28, 1939 — June 27, 2022

Lilia Badar Duplon, 83 of Beneg, Botolan, Zambales, Philippines, passed away on June 27th due to heart complications. Lilia was born on January 28, 1939 to Ildefonso Abad Badar and Apolinaria Daos Badar. Lilia's siblings are Adena Dinoso, Ildefonso Jr. Badar, Solfomon Badar and Jaime Badar. After immigrating to the United States in 1955, Lilia graduated from Clover Park High School in Tacoma, Washington in 1957. In 1965, she married the love her life, Renato Dienzo Duplon of Batonlapoc, Botolan, Zambales and started their family. They had two children, Margaret and Milton. Lilia was a dedicated wife and mother. Since her husband was in the Navy, Lilia had to overcome the challenges of being a Navy wife. Lilia was a very strong woman, she was able to take care of the children, manage the finances and take care of the home while Renato was away. Lilia decided to dedicate her life to being a great and wonderful mother. She was the foundation of our family, through and through. Lilia had a quiet strength about her. She knew when to be stern and when to be kind. Above all, she knew the right thing to say at the right time. Lilia always supported her children's dreams and aspirations. She was really proud of her children who both graduated from college with bachelor and masters degrees. As a grandmother, she found joy and pride in her grandchildren, Kirby and Hana Suniga. She would remind whomever she talked with how intelligent and athletic they were. Lilia is survived by her husband, her children and her grandchildren.
