Linda Christine Allen

Linda Christine Allen, of Corona, CA earned her angel wings and passed away on Thursday, April 27th 2017 after a long fought battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was 69 years old. Linda was born in Panorama City, CA to Bill and June Sieber on December 1,1947. As a young girl, she enjoyed reading, putting on plays in the garage with her siblings and swimming in their big backyard pool at their Northridge house, where many memories were made. She attended St. Genevieve High School and graduated in 1965. She and Gary met and fell in love while attending college at San Diego State where she majored in Geography. Gary and Linda married in April of 1968. Together, they had two children, Damon and Shannon. She was such a loving, caring, and hard-working mother to both of them. Linda was a teacher at Lincoln Alternative School in the Corona-Norco School District for 28 years where she was admired, respected and loved by so many, touching the lives of every child and family she met. After a few years of teaching, she went on to earn a Masters Degree in Education from Azusa Pacifica. Throughout her teaching career ,she taught Kindergarten, Fourth and Sixth grade and loved each one for different reasons. She was an adventurous woman with a true love for nature. She enjoyed camping trips in the motorhome, hiking in the mountains, walks along the beach, gardening in her yard, traveling and sightseeing, a glass of wine with good friends, reading and spending time with her family. Her love for her grandchildren, Blake and Hannah was overflowing! She brought them great joy as they did in return to her. She will forever live on in our hearts. Linda is survived by her husband, Gary; son, Damon; daughter, Shannon; daughter in law, Shannon; son in law, Josh; grandson, Blake; granddaughter, Hannah and her siblings Judy, Kathy, Pat and Bill.
