Lisa Hsiu Hornberger

Lisa Hornberger, 83, of Corona, Calif., formerly of Butler, passed away September 21, 2023. Born in Taiwan in 1939, Lisa was a clerk and bookkeeper at the US Navy Exchange in Taipei, Taiwan. Lisa came to the US in 1970 and met her husband, Tom, in Chicago. They married on August 25, 1972, and settled in Butler.

Lisa was a homemaker and attended Community Alliance Church. She was into nutritional health, gardening and making homemade dishes. She moved to Corona, Calif. in 2011 to be closer to family, where she lived until her death. Lisa is survived by her son Keith; daughter-in-law Cheri; granddaughter; sisters Margie, Annice, and Mindy; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom. Lisa will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery alongside her husband.
