Lloyd I. Chauvin, a resident of Corona, passed away on April 27, 2014 at the age of 90. Lloyd was born in Roseville, Michigan in 1923. Lloyd, a CPA, graduated from the University of Detroit in 1949 following 33 months in the 78th Infantry Division during World War II. Where in addition to his Combat Infantry Badge, received various awards and attained the rank of T/SGT. Lloyd loved hunting, fishing and traveling with his wife Arlene. Lloyd married Arlene in 1957 and moved to California in 1961, where he spent his remaining years involved in the Mobile Home Industry in management, accounting and consulting as a California CPA. Lloyd was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Lloyd is survived by his wife Arlene, his children Carolyn (Gabriel), Howard (Lisa) Chauvin and Edward Chauvin; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; a daughter Beverly was predeceased by Lloyd in death in 1976. Viewing will be held at Thomas Miller Mortuary on Friday 5/2 from 3-5 PM with Mass of Resurrection being held on Saturday 5/3 at 2:00 PM at St. Edward Catholic Church.
