Lois Darlene (Stevens) Fisher Obituary August 2025
Our mother, known to friends and family as Darlene Fisher, was born on May 16, 1930, in Pampa, Texas, and entered Heaven August 2, 2025, after succumbing to pneumonia. She had been in the loving care of her children and caregivers at Summerfield of Redlands Memory Care and Hospice. Darlene moved to California as a young child and grew up in Orange County. After meeting James Donald Fisher in front of Knott’s Berry Farm, they were soon to be wed and enjoyed a long and loving marriage of 56 years. Jim and Darlene raised their family in Corona, California, and later moved to Riverside in 1974. Darlene had a deep faith and loving heart and was a member of Crossroads Christian Church since 1970. She enjoyed her many travels, her bridge group of nearly 50 years, and the roses Jim planted wherever they lived.
She was preceded in death by Jim, her parents (Harry and Mary Stevens), and all of her siblings (Raymond, Kenneth, Glenda, Allen, Marie, and Sharon). Darlene is survived by her children and their families: Steven Fisher of Rancho Cucamonga, Karen Kack of Moreno Valley, and Bruce Fisher of Riverside; her grandchildren Brian Fisher, Keith Nathan Fisher, Laurie Edgemon, Sara Kack, Jim Kack, Jeffrey Kack, Mary Fisher, Matthew Fisher, and Michael Fisher; her great-grandchildren Brody Fisher, Brooke Fisher, Stephanie Riehn, Douglas Ball, Amanda Edgemon, Mackenzie Kack, Katie Kack, James Kack, Ethan Kack, Emma Kack, and the littlest Kack due in February 2026. Although we will miss her dearly, we keep her love with us and look forward to the day we will be reunited again.
