Luis Godinez

Luis Godinez aka Louie was born on May 4, 1962 in Brisenas, Michoacan, Mexico and passed away December 24, 2024 in Corona, California. Louie was a devoted husband, father and son who called his mom Maria every day. Louie is preceded in death by his father Salvador Aguirre Godinez and his brother Javier Godinez. Louie is survived by his wife Rosa Esmeralda Guzman of 34 years and his sons Salvador Godinez, Omar Godinez, and Luis Godinez aka Lil Louie and his granddaughter Kaylani. Louie is also survived by his mother Maria Toribio Godinez and his siblings, Eduardo aka Eddie Godinez, Ana Patricia Godinez, Blanca Estella Godinez, Salvador aka Jr. Godinez, and Alvaro Godinez. 

 Louie lived a good life and made many friends throughout his life time. He was a grumpy man, didn’t like to smile but he had a heart of gold. Always there to help anyone in need. He enjoyed many years being a volunteer while taking his now grown sons to sports (Pop Warner football and Anaheim Pony baseball) where he met great persons who became like family. He enjoyed playing Paco with friends, enjoyed hosting poker nights with family and friends and can’t forget to mention that he was a 49er fan and enjoyed every game. He will be missed.
