Lyle Paul Norland

Lyle Paul Norland passed away peacefully on July 5, 2019 at the age of 88. Born on March 19, 1931 in Ord, Nebraska, to Orville and Zola Norland. Lyle married the love of his life, Millicent "Mickey" Mae Mason, on June 21, 1953. They just celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. Lyle worked alongside his father and brother in the O.A. Norland Store in Burwell, Nebraska. He served honorably in the United States Air Force stationed in Texas. There they welcomed their first two sons Mark & Eric. Later returning to Nebraska they welcomed sons David and Kevan. When opportunity knocked, Lyle moved his family on to Denver, Missouri and finally settling in Corona in 1969. Lyle worked for one of the largest providers of consumer products to military commissaries and post exchanges around the world. Having raised their four boys, Lyle accepted positions that allowed he and Mickey to travel extensively. They lived in Arizona, Florida, Georgia and Germany. After retirement in 1989, they returned to their original home in Corona to be near family. They attended Northpoint EV Free Church. Lyle was preceded in death by his brother JDon and parents Orville and Zola. He is survived by his wife Mickey, 4 children, Mark (Elaine) of Corona; Eric (Sonja) of San Jose; David (Lauren) of Riverside; Kevan (Shellie) of Temecula. They have 7 grandchildren, Matthew (Jen), Sarah, Mason, Trevor, Emma, Kalea and Briana. They were also blessed with 3 great grandchildren, Bailey Rose, Kahlan and Liam.
