Marcel Joseph Trahan

On Sunday, April 7, 2019, Marcel Joseph Trahan, loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 70. Born in New Hampshire, Marcel grew up, lived and worked in Southern California most of his life. He loved the ocean, especially body boarding with his son, Michael. He was passionate about gardening and shared this passion with friends and neighbors. He was best known for being a man of his word, honest and direct. Marcel cared deeply and generously, always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed working out at the gym, rarely missing a day, as well as many walks with his furry best friend, Harley. Marcel will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Carol, his sons, Michael, Gary and Chris, his brothers, Roger, Andy, Bob and David, and his grandchildren. He will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. He was predeceased by his son, Ryan, his sister, Jacqueline, and his parents, David and Fern. All are welcome to pay their respects at his military graveside service, Riverside National Cemetery at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to 11am. Reception will follow at Serfas Club Park in Corona, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
