Maria Louisa Morales

Maria Louisa Morales, known to many as Wicha, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on July 28, 1943, in Corona, CA, she was proceeded in death by her husband, David Morales; granddaughter, Valerie; brothers, Tony, Alfred, David; and parents, Aniceto and Josefina Hernandez.

Maria Louisa lived in Santa Maria, CA. For many years and for a time she was a bilingual teacher’s aide at Robert Bruce Elementary in Santa Maria.

Maria Louisa is survived by her two sons, David Jr. and Christopher; sister, Vicky Hernandez; brother, Richard Hernandez; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Maria Louisa was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory. Though her presence will be deeply missed, they find comfort in knowing she has entered into eternal rest in the loving embrace of our Lord.
